Survivor SA S7 Runner-up, CEO, Mountaineer, and Mrs. South Africa 2018. With a background as a Functional Medicine Pharmacist, she founded her NPO Uprising, a transformational trekking organization, and is also a Presenter, Model and Rare Diseases SA Ambassador.
Her Survivor SA adventure came about as a result of her realising goals she never imagined she had the courage to achieve.
At six weeks old her daughter was diagnosed with a life-limiting rare disease, Cystic Fibrosis. This was a major catalyst for change in her life, and led her to enter and subsequently win the Mrs. South Africa competition.
As an advocate for women’s rights, Nicole believes she had a choice: to allow a disease to steal her purpose, using it as an excuse for complacency; or to consciously go after her dreams despite it, and in so doing, show her children that nothing can hold them back from achieving their goals.
With a passion for health and preventative medicine, Nicole uses her mobility and fitness to raise awareness for those without full health, by participating in mountain climbs, sporting events and outdoor adventures all over the world – with her intention to liberate courage in others to do the same.
Nicole co-founded Uprising – an organisation that takes others on transformational journeys, all the while raising funds and awareness for children with rare diseases. Nicole wants others to believe they can go on brave adventures too. Through these journeys she helps fellow explorers find their strengths, celebrate them and realise their full potential. Nicole lives to celebrate freedom, authenticity and collaboration.
LeAnne lives to inspire others through her journey as a mother, wife, entrepreneur and a recording artist.
She is the founder of a company called Life Designed By Her (LDH) through which she shares the various passions she has, be it music, women empowerment and making a difference in society.
With 15 years in the music business, she can safely say music is her life and has given meaning to her world. After receiving two South African Music Awards and a Metro FM Award, she knew she had found a place where she could express herself but also give voice to the feelings which are felt by those who listen to her music.
What began as a campaign she started called #ENDGIRLHATE has evolved into a widely celebrated movement of women united through sisterhood. With a presence in South Africa, Botswana and Canada they host purpose driven lifestyle events which include personal development masterclasses, Glamour conferences and High Teas for change.
She believes in the power of influence that seeks to encourage and inspire women to look after themselves holistically.
